kyle We have been trying to get a cabinet in here for a long time, I even cleaned out a space for it (I am not allowed to bring this up too often though as part of an agreement/bet with Austin) but once we do I am going to spend MONTHS focussing on it. I LOVE dried sausage, I will make so much pepperoni that it will be sent out as “wins” instead of jerky for the livestreams. Also, we had that book at one point.

RE: What are you hunting/fishing?
I sort of feel like I changed this thread…good lesson to me that I need to start new threads when I am thinking this might happen! I LOVE it though. Few things processhead Not sure if you are familiar with the movie Snatch by Guy Ritchie but there is a Russian character in it that says “heavy is good, heavy is reliable, if it doesn’t work, you can always hit them in the head with it” Now, I realize that reliability is NOT an issue with that gun, it just brought it to mind!
salmonmaster I am guessing that having to worry about Meth camps adds a certain “excitement” to back-country hunting trips?!

RE: What are you hunting/fishing?
salmonmaster I haven’t had too many people complain about the grip angle on the Glock weapons, some don’t like the grip size of the double stack weapons. Like I tell new shooters, friends and family; find one that fits your hand, budget and made by any quality gun maker. Most modern semi auto handguns will outshoot the shooter. In my opinion Springfield is an under rated gun maker. Glock double stack weapons still fit my hand the best, as far as grip angle. My daily carry is still a Glock, but my muscle memory is built around it after 35 years of on duty carry. Im still partial to my old Colt 1911 Combat commander. It is the first handgun I purchased and I’ve had it for about 40 years now. It’s old, but reliable.

RE: Opossum
johnsbrewhouse By FAR the closest I have ever come to puking from eating something, I have obviously thrown up from food before but that is usually because I had drank too much before I tried to eat half a pizza at 2 am or something. This was solely based on the terrible taste! GWG8541 I 100% get that people are laughing with us not laughing “at” us, we take that as a fun thing, not a making fun of us thing. Austin and I love making fun of each other and enjoy it when others make fun of us. kyle That was actually Austins idea, it was a good one!

RE: Can you do anything else with brisket, besides... BBQ brisket?
Dave in AZ A bit “out there” but if you want to do something else with it https://meatgistics.waltons.com/topic/2120/brisket-jerky-jerky-201?_=1675947018225 was actually good. i still prefer to make actual brisket from it but if you have a bunch and you are sick of it then this is a good way to go.

RE: What are you hunting/fishing?
salmonmaster xd is a great weapon for the price. I bought one in 9mm a few years back and take it out occasionally just to put rounds down range with it.

RE: What are you hunting/fishing?
johnsbrewhouse nice weapon. I was able to purchase my issued one after carrying it as a duty weapon for a decade when the PD switched to the G21.

RE: Opossum
Jonathon were not laugh at you, were laughing with, OK were laughing at you. Man, I have a lot of Hillbilly DNA, but I’m not eating that unless I’m really starving.
