GWG8541 looks great

wdaly I’m chalking it up to a learning opportunity. I just have to figure out whether it means I need to do smaller batches…or get a bigger pellet grill.

AdamusLignus Those are some fine looking sticks, in my opinion. You need to let Walton’s know about that mixer handle snapping. I have the 20 pounder too & have never, ever had a problem with it & I am putting 25 pounds in it at times, which is a real challenge. But, it always does the job, even though it does a better job on the smaller loads. I just hated having to make room for the big 50. I can just imagine how worn out you must have been. Good rest & relaxation while enjoying some of those sticks & a cold brew are now in order.

GWG8541 Nothing wrong with that at all, even if it did happen before 12:00 Noon.

Dave in AZ Yeah, I dropped them a message on their website chat. It’s really not that big a deal, just had to grab an adjustable wrench. I’m more worried about the random metal bit welded into the blade kicking loose at some point and disappearing into the mix…but I’m sure I’m over thinking it since pushing through meat should be relatively low impact.

calldoctoday Yeah, at about midnight after my who knows how many-th rupture I got to seriously thinking “I mean…just how expensive COULD an electric stuffer be?”
Been hitting the sticks hard already, brews are gonna have to wait until after this 6 y/o birthday party. Ugh.

AdamusLignus I would contact customer service on the mixer, I am sure they will work with you. They always seem very good about standing behind their products. The sticks look good after a lot of solo work, congratulations.

Denny O really not much. Heck, I’ve put cake batter in the waffle maker before and it turned out great. Its kind of a personal taste and texture thing. I won’t mention mouth feel. That could run out the thread for awhile.

GWG8541 I love the way people just throw something together in this community. Me throwing something together is 2 slices of bread, a little mayo, a slice of luncheon meat and cheese if I am lucky. I prefer your quick lunch, great looking sandwich.

bocephus my work day lunches look alot like yours. I like days off to cook a little more and try not to waste those left overs. Were adjusting to left overs, since we are empty nesters.
