Dave in AZ said in What did everyone cook today?:
minute steak
Cubed steak or minute steak, it’s inexpensive yet a flavorful cut of beef that’s pre-tenderized. It’s taken from the top or bottom round.

GWG8541 Tomato? Too bad it wasn’t home grown! Do you find some store bought maders that have flavor?
-
AdamusLignus That is amazing looking, very nice work.

Denny O I just use the larger grape tomatoes and slice them long ways. Like you said, not much flavor from store bought big maters. Some of the smaller grape and cherry ones taste OK.

OleSmokey that looks and sounds amazing!!

Denny O nailed it. It was top round tenderized when we did the beef last spring. -
Great deal! Took my 4wheeler and some hamburger and bacon over to my buddy’s and got him to work on my ATV then cook us some bacon cheeseburgers! He even supplied the beer . Definitely, a good Sunday.

I stopped by a local meat shop yesterday evening and picked up a few locally sourced ribeyes. I seasoned them with SPG, then reverse seared them on the pellet smoker and finished them in the Griswold CI in a mix of butter and bacon grease. I also did some mac and cheese on the smoker and mushrooms with onions on the good ole Gris.
Dessert was some fresh strawberries I just bought for an FFA fundraiser from a friends kid. Sliced on top of vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream. I need a nap now.
