Yesterday was a good day for canning, temps dropped to single digits and 5" of new snow.

Steven Winscot Thanks, it’s been cold with lots of snow and I’m pacing the floor so this is how I vent my frustration.

Steven Winscot Nice, do you can that much to give away some? Until recently I always had a couple different people that loved canning that would give me a jar when they did a batch. I loved it and they seemed to enjoy giving it away.

WVTim I gift some of all things that I process and can. I spent lots of time in the kitchen with the Women when I was a kid, I enjoyed the farm life and the freshest of foods.

gus4416 Left some berries whole so it’s a chunky Jam, it’s much quicker than my jelly or syrup process.

GWG8541 salmon looks great. Blackened used to be all the rage in 90s, it was everywhere. Now you rarely see it, but I still love it!
