Steven Winscot My people like the maple flavored sausage patties. Always have to keep some in the freezer. That’s why there are so many options out there.

zbigjeff Sure are many to choose from. I like the Zans Dixie because it pairs well with a cream gravy and some of the more spicy varieties are great for links and patty.

Steven Winscot Glad you hit your sweet spot. Over here, they make breakfast sandwiches with them. It’s all about the “what is your desired use”. Just have fun with it.

zbigjeff I didn’t mind the maple breakfast sausage seasoning when I cooked pancakes and it was drenched in real maple syrup, It was TSM brand but I didn’t think it paired with cream gravy. I haven’t tried Waltons maple sausage seasoning yet. I’ve used the maple bacon rubs and ham cures from Waltons and I like those.

Tried my luck at pot pies last night with home made crust. I was pretty happy with them . I ate this one and put 3 in freezer.

RON PARRISH Egg wash is a must, I do it on my pastys, biscuits and pies.
I like the golden appearance.
