Departing Contestant LOL. I was waiting for that comment! I’m working on some garden pavers that should be pretty cool!

Departing Contestant LOL that was amazing, I had to look at the pic a few times to catch it!

Jonathon Oh man…this is going to be fun! I haven’t given it a full cook yet but simply reheating a previous Weber grilling is excellent! It’s comparable to Sous Vide in that capacity alone. I have the tri-tip injected with Pa’s Black Bull and a light rub of the Garlic & Pepper for tomorrow. I didn’t get to mixing the meatballs tonight but I harvested a generous portion of fresh herbs for the mix. My grilling Arsenal is nearly complete!
Tonight was a reheat of Johnsonville Chorizo brats and smoked cream cheese stuffed poppers wrapped in bacon. Perfect

Glad you’re thinking of my meatballs. Hope you love your new toy as much as I do my Rec Tec which smokes them great.
Reverse sear works great on tri tips. I do 225 to an IT of 110.

macsinsac There is a million off handed remarks I could make about your balls right now but…
To the fine folks at Walton’s…feel free to edit my posts!

It turns out that ants don’t like it when you turn up the heat in the kitchen! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen them move that fast but at over 600 degrees I’d be running too!

Joe Hell is the Pa’s Black Bull spicy? I wanna inject a pork butt for pulled pork sandwiches for 4th of july yearly family get together but my mom cant handle any bit of heat.
-
twilliams Nope! I don’t find it the least bit spicy. It’s a hard one to describe. It doesn’t have an overpowering characteristic but adds umami so to speak. It makes things ‘meatier’ perhaps? It works really well pairing with a huge variety of rubs. I’m using the soluble injectable version rather than the marinade. I’m not sure how the two stack up to one another.

I am really happy with this grill thus far. Pretty pictures coming soon!!! I’m not sure I’ve ever bought anything that required assembly that was easier to put together. It took longer to unpack than to put together. 15 minutes and I was already rolling!
