macsinsac Gorgeous!!! I’ve been consuming local asparagus as fast as possible while it’s in season!
-
Joe Hell we all love our local asparagus here too. Balsamic reduction on it is killer.

macsinsac balsamic is a wonderful thing! I’ve got several great bottles so thank you for the suggestion! I’d love to do an asparagus ‘tasting’ sometime from various regions. With vineyards, they often reference terroir as the essence of the land, the dirt, the minerals, etc., etc… I can’t imagine that same philosophy not applying to every example of produce. I’m from the south east portion of Washington. We have a large variety of distinct growing regions from desert to valley, mountain and foothills. We are known most famously for Walla Walla Sweet Onions and Wine grapes but also have a huge amount of various fruit and vegetables.

macsinsac I love blasamic reductions as well however does anyone have a way to make it not smell up my kitchen like terrible stinky feet? Every time I try to make it my wife complains, sometimes for days, about the smell. Do you guys have the same issue or is it something I am doing wrong?

Jonathon the wife found 100 ml bottles of flavored balsamic reduction & picked up regular, cabernet/merlot, & strawberry fig from Nonna Pia’s Gourmet Sauces out of Whistler, BC Canada. That way there’s no big stink.

Jonathon Balsamic Reduction…will it bbq?
-
Joe Hell a really popular youtuber just did a Will it BBQ? where instead of bbqing odd things they used odd things to BBQ. It was pretty funny and they used a watermelon to BBQ, like inside the watermelon, it was pretty cool!

Jonathon LOL! I can’t say I’ve ever thought about that one! With the right pumpkin grill you could cook for an army and eat part of the grill!
