twilliams an outdoor kitchen is where it’s at! It is definitely a dream of mine. I don’t cook anything in the house from ate Spring to Fall.
6-Pack
-
Not the six pack I’m used to. First order of Excalibur shakers arrived. Time to grill.
-
PapaSop Yes!!! I need to stock up too. I’m about to throw some chicken legs on the pit boss!
-
Joe Hell try seasoning some then wrap in bacon and season again you will not be disapointed
-
craigrice I’ll give it a shot! I was also making some more bacon wrapped poppers tonight so I have ‘extra’ bacon. Lol
-
Joe Hell yum!
-
Joe Hell I made pork chops seasoned with sage ,rosemary and thyme browned and baked in a casserole dish with cream of mushroom soup with steamed potatoes and creamed corn
-
craigrice that sounds fantastic! That herb pairing is one of my favorites!
-
Picked up a bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breast with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. Grilled indirect with apple chips for a little smoke flavor. Grilled direct for last couple of minutes to crisp the bacon. Used Excalibur Rosemary thyme and basil seasoning. This was wonderful. Perfect.
-
PapaSop that’s looking really good man!
Odd question, what’s everyone’s “guilty pleasure” food? Not necessarily bad for you but just something that’s either kinda odd or junkish. Mine is the fake crab meat with the captains bay seasoning. I love that stuff and eat it for dinner or lunch at least three times a week! You know the stuff I mean, it says it’s crab meat but it is actually flake or something!

Ok… The replies to this might get a little far out but here’s mine. BBQ sandwiches is what we call them up my way. Most people will recognize as sloppy joes. The other is crimp bread topped with a spread of Cheese Wiz and crushed Lay’s potato chips on top. Can eat these any time any where. My son and I once finished an entire loaf.
OMG… Just comfort food. -
Jonathon I’m a little embarrassed to admit it but this might be my favorite pizza of all time. I’m willing to go on a multi day preparation to make my perfect pizza from scratch but the cracker crust of the ‘party pizza’ is my guilty pleasure. (I can’t remembef the last time I had one!)
-
craigrice I’m pretty sure that wrapping the chicken legs was unnecessary. Unnecessarily GOOD!
-
PapaSop I have made chicken Kiev ,chicken pounded flat with provolone cheese, asparagus and diced scallions baked in the oven
-
PapaSop Nothing wrong with a Sloppy Joe! Cheesewiz on Crimp bread (which I just had to look up) is bad enough but then the crushed potato chips is EXACTLY the type of answer I was looking for!
Joe Hell You and Austin must be long lost twins then cause he loves those Totinos cardboard deals too!
craigrice You couldnt be responding to the guilty pleasure thing cause that sounds more like gourmet than guilt to me!
-
Joe Hell No need to be embarrassed! Totino’s are amazing!!! I’d join you on voting for Totino’s as a guilty pleasure.
I cannot even count how many I’ve had… I’d bet well over a thousand.
Before I got married, I ate that for dinner almost every night. I didn’t want to plan or make food after work, and they’re so simple and super tasty in my opinion (when coated with the right Excalibur Seasoning Shaker [garlic romano, cajun, butter garlic, hot buffalo wing, etc.]) I’m still mad they are in plastic now instead of cardboard boxes too… -
Austin LOL. Pizza is ROUND!!! What were they thinking!!!
I would always finish mine off a drizzle of olive oil, dried oregano and crushed red pepper. Delicious!
I once rolled one up and wrapped it in a bacon blanket before baking. It was terrible! Lol
-
Jonathon yep yep
-
craigrice
Sounds delicious. -
Austin
Haven’t had a Tortino’s in years. I’ll have to pick one up. -
Joe Hell Yeah, square is ridiculous… I’ve never rolled/wrapped one, let alone in bacon. I have tried to use them as “buns” for an extra, extra large hamburger though. If I can find pictures sometime, I’ll have to share. That was back when they were still round pizzas though.
PapaSop Make sure you add something to it, like Joe Hell described too, always finish it off with a topping of sorts.
