How to turn off emails
-
How do I turn off all the emails I get from the postings, or how do I delete my account?
Too many emails!
-
roosterndad You can go into your settings and turn off emails and notifications. I apologize if my frequent posts are part of the problem. đ„Ž

Thanks for your suggestion. But I have everything turned off in my Settings. I get the emails because, it says at the bottom, âYou are receiving this email because you have subscribed to this category.â How do I find what category I am subscribed to and turn that off?
Thanks

roosterndad Can you forward one of these emails to [email protected] ? I checked your settings and you shouldnât be getting anything from meatgistics. I checked yesterday and double checked just now. Sorry about that!

It could be somewhere in the area I highlighted in green.
I have most of my notifications turned off and might get an email once per day. It depends on posting activity.

Jonathan and Joe, HELP HELP! Iâm still getting 10-15 emails a day. Jonathan, I forwarded you some of them but havenât heard back directly from you. How do I end the daily email flush? If I have to, how do I delete/close my account? Help
-
roosterndad Iâm not sure what settings you have turned onâŠI donât get nearly that many. What type of notifications are you receiving? Are they from Waltonâs or Meatgistics? Both?
Each website might have different settings. On the Waltonâs site it would be under ânewslettersâ in your settings. On the meatgistics f***m there is âemailâ and ânewslettersâ.

Joe, thanks for your feedback. On Waltons under Newsletters I am âcurrently not subscribed to any newsletter.â On Meatgistics I have everything turned off much like the image you responded with before. Iâve forwarded some of the emails to Jonathan but havenât heard anything back yet. The emails always end with âYou are receiving this email because you have subscribed to this category.â or âYou are receiving this email because you have subscribed to Meat Processing.â
-
roosterndad one option might be to close one account and start a roosterndad2 account?
-
roosterndad did you send them to [email protected]? I just searched my emails and donât see anything from the email address you have listed for this account? Checked my spam accounts and didnât find them either.
Iâve double checked and you are still ignoring everything I can see. Please try to forward me an email again and if you can respond to the chat I just sent so I can know to look for it. There has got to be something I am missing though as I imagine if this were a system thing then everyone would be getting them continually, not just you.

roosterndad if you go to the main tab on Walton community about half way down there is a subscribe tab if that helpsâŠ

@jfo2050 Sorry to see you go! I donât have moderator status but I can put in a request for you.

I have to give this one some credit, they at least found an existing post that was relevant to what they wanted to spam. Kudos to them!
-
Jonathon I have been getting them too. Way too many in a dayâŠprobably 95 percent of what I get. I tried contacting you guys months ago and got no real help so Iâve been putting up with it but am tired of having to do it daily.

djtcds I just posted on the Stop the emails. If that doesnât work for you let me know and we can chat offline and I will edit your profile for you.
-
I am having the same problem with about 30% of my messages coming from Waltons

fisherman43 This is what I posted in another thread (https://meatgistics.waltonsinc.com/topic/2105/stop-the-emails/5?_=1627837348641) let me know if these dont work for you.
Yup, djtcds Go to your main page then unsubscribe from categories. It wont be green if you are already subscribed, so your will be yellow and say unsubscribe. That and then below that is a shot of my settings, this way I get only notifications on what I am following.
