    Find out what's going on at Walton's and Meatgistics this week. We will have a loose schedule for soon to be released videos, what we are working on long-term and maybe a few quick tips and tricks that are on our mind!

    What Videos are being released soon?

    We just released Tips to Stuff Collagen Casings where we go over how to tell when a casing is properly stuffed and more.

    We will be releasing tips for stuffing natural and fibrous casings as well over the next few weeks to get everyone ready for HUNTING SEASON!

    Speaking of hunting season if you didn’t get our email check out this raffle to win a 4-man Helicopter Hunt! It is in Texas, you get a 2 hour helicopter hunt where they provide an AR-15 and all the ammunition you could want to hunt wild hogs! First, we have talked about this in the past but wild hogs are an insanely invasive species that need to be hunted to try to control their numbers so there is NO LIMIT! You will also be supporting Outdoor Mentors, an organization with the goal of getting children to experience the outdoors in ways that they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to. Tickets are $20 a piece or 3 for $50 or 7 for $100! If you win feel free to invite me!

    What Projects are we looking ahead at?

    We have been trying to create a troubleshooting document where we will have answers to common problems and links to videos that can help you figure out those issues. When this goes live it will be linked on waltonsinc.com and it will live somewhere on meatgistics.

    What’s on our Mind?

    So, you probably only hear us mention this 2,000 more times in the next year but Walton’s went to the Wichita Zoobilee this year, which is an event where local restaurants and other businesses provide free drinks and/or food for customers. We made Apple Brats with Cheddar, Hatch Chili (will be available online soon) with Hot Pepper Cheese, Walton’s Bold Jerky with extra brown sugar, Dill Pickle Jerky, Bloody Mary Jerky and Teriyaki Jerky. We weren’t even aware it was a competition but we WON! We came in first place as 2019’s best vendor! We were judged on appearance, knowledge and enthusiasm and food quality, we beat all sorts of BBQ Shops, Restaurants and Bars. So, when you guys are making recipes off of our instructions, just know it is AWARD WINNING advice! Just kidding, but we are proud of this accomplishment, especially since we think one of our winning points was knowledge and enthusiasm!
