what protein was served for dinner ?

craigrice brats and burgers
-
craigrice we aren’t having an organized dinner per se but I’ve been cooking all morning. First up was broiled grapefruit with brown sugar, beef tenderloin, scratch made potato sausages and kielbasa with onions and peppers. I’m on the fence whether I’m having wagyu ribeye or simply a salad for dinner. Lol.

Joe Hell we had smoked ham scalloped potatoes corn and all the rest and I made cheese cake for desert with blue berry sauce

Home cured and smoked ham, corn casserole, yams, scalloped potatoes, salad, rolls and pecan pie for desert. Here is the ham prior to the oven.

craigrice That sounds delicious! I hit the office-limit’ foods hard yesterday and still managed to drop a couple lbs somehow. Back to clean eating after the new year!

Joe Hell everyone is required to indulge on the holidays its part of Christmas !

**Prime Rib. ** This has been our family thing for the last five years. Local food service company runs a sales on these every December. Lip on ribeye. They are pre marinated. Pulled one at 130(per request). The other at 110. Let rest 15min. Fork tender and delicious. Did have to sprinkle a little Excalibur on.

PapaSop those look absolutely fantastic! Merry Christmas!

PapaSop im surprised the 130 is that well done, they look great though…great job. I wanted to do one today but mama didnt want to spend the money. So it was shitty brats and burgers on the grill

twilliams
The 130 ones actually sat closer to 25min. May have been why.
Hmm, never heard that word used with brats. Best start making your own. -
PapaSop Great Job! Sure makes my turkey look bad. However with my leftover turkey, and some ham I’ve got the basic fixens for a great HotBrown!
