Jonathon In addition, dry the cheese of your choice a bit to help with its heat temperance & then freeze it before adding to your mix, late in the mix. We use other natural cheeses using this method too, just make sure you are you a harder & more aged cheese as we have had better luck with those.

It has just been an Ale & Cider kind of day around here today.
Got ahold of some St. Bernardus & of course our own homemade Pear Cider.
-
Surg Never seen that. I’m getting an education in alcohol

Surg it’s been awhile since I’ve had Bitburger. If you like German Pils, it’s a good one.

calldoctoday that Pear cider sounds tasty. Especially on a snow covered day here up north.
-
GWG8541 Thank you, it would be perfect. We have some apple too. We made about two cases of flip tops each I think it was. We back sweetened both of them as Andrew thought they were a little dry compared to store bought. The neighbor thought they were too sweet though.

Weldwerks is a great brewery if you like odd beers like I do!
-
Jonathon never seen that either. Is it local to your area?
-
wvotrfan Colorado, if you can find them they make a ton of good, but odd beers!
-
Jonathon I’m in WV near Baltimore and DC area. I looked them up. Nothing in my area. That’s ashame. I love trying stuff but the weird beers I try seem to be c**p.
-
wvotrfan My sons bought this. Pretty good. Not going to last long

wvotrfan both of my kids being old enough to buy alcohol makes me feel very old. My mind thinks I’m still in my 20s
-
wvotrfan If you have at least 4-5 cocktails, you’ll feel even younger. Go for it.
-
zbigjeff True, but tomorrow I will feel like I’m 90

wvotrfan My wife says I act like a child sometimes, I just say thanks! I take that as a complement anymore. I hate to say I have one grandson that can buy me alcohol and another getting close and I have not hit my magic S/S age.
-
wvotrfan I purposefully did not provide “the morning after” feeling.

zbigjeff One of the reasons I have cut way back is the morning after feeling.

One of the last homebrewed Braggots my son made last fall. Man are they good.

So, after what I am calling the cancelation vacation because my podcast on birds booze and buds got canceled, my hunting trip got canceled and I thought my firearms instruction session with me and my wife got canceled for tomorrow I decided it was time to dri k. Never had this before but I love Monty python so I thought I’d try it. Very good porter!
-
Also, firearms thing didn’t actually get canceled. My wife needs some training from someone other than me and since shooting is involved I want to go too!
