If you use a percentage of salt in relation to your meat it will never be too salty even if you leave in the cure for years. So in my case I put 2% salt to my pork belly, some like less or more, but once you figure out your sweet spot it will be perfect every time with no soaking or pre-tasting required. As processhead noted that’s too much salt for sure. 2% is 45 grams and 2.25% is 50 grams. 1/3 cup is approximately 91 grams which is almost double at 4%. For reference most dry cured meat is only 3%.

I generally check the “daily bonus entry” from my computer at work. It always works fine. For some reason, it will not allow me to check it from my laptop at home on weekends. It tells me I am creating too many entries. Tried logging out and back in from home but no dice. Anyone else have this issue? It must be somehow tracking to an IP address?

Brianh Try clearing the cache and history on your browser. If that doesn’t do it “flush your DNS”.

One thing that i just noticed is that when you go to waltonsinc.com/win if it makes you log back in it will instantly award you the daily bonus, you don’t click the button, it will actually show you the icon of the clock saying you have to wait x hours to for your next bonus entry.

i have tried several times to enter the give aways but when i do it says i have to verify my entry by clicking on fb, twitter of one of those other things …idon’t use any of those so i guess i’m out of luck …lol ( i have also tried clicking one-mail )

Brianh I have not encountered that issue. The one I usually get is about Cookies being disabled, and that message is just dependent on which browser I am using to try to get the daily entry.
