Chambered vacuum sealers

Jonathon, just watched your review on the PrimaVac sealer. Nicely done by the way. Very thorough. How’s your take compared to the Weston Pro 2500 and the VacMaster 215?

PapaSop I like the Primavac more than either of those. We had a vacuum meter and I was playing around with it, all 3 models got lower than the other two and got to 10 millibars (where you need to be) faster. The only downside, which I briefly touched on, was the preheat oil feature they “suggest” you run any time the machine has been turned off for more than 24 hours. 15 minutes is a long time to expect someone to wait before using it. Now, if you’re doing 10 packages then I don’t think it necessarily needs to be done everytime. Do it the 1st time for sure and from there, if you have the time do it but all it is doing is heating the oil to clear the oil of impurities.
And thanks!

Sounds like a great unit. A chambered sealer and the PK is my ultimate end game. May need a little more “stimulus”. LOL -
PapaSop I can tell you that the PK 100 is nice. I’m still learning how best to work it, but it’s just the same sort of thing one goes through when learning a new vehicle.
Yeah, the Primavacs are pretty sexy. Definitely on my wish list.
