Steven Winscot yes, brown sugar and salt. After 50 years of smoking salmon I finally have it where everybody likes it. Not to salty and a little bit sweet.

Denny O I would never buy salmon. I canned a couple cases of my own, wild caught salmon
I don’t think I could ever loose my last hook. After guiding for salmon for 15 years, I have a shed full of salmon fishing stuff.

salmonmaster Looks perfect, great eye appeal and that’s just the way I like it.
-
processhead I’d consider it a plant based food, that makes it produce in my mind

cdavis The net I’m standing in was 36" acrost and this king chinook salmon was easily overlapping the net by an 1-1/2" on the head and tail. We did not have a tape measuring device nor a scale with us.

cdavis I wish I had some walleye to fish for locally. I would have to drive at least a 150 miles to catch them.

Denny O That would be an amazing trip to take, great looking fish.
-
salmonmaster That looks fantastic. I have been wanting to do something like that with salmon & steelhead for years, but never got beyond a basic smoke for a dinner or two.
-
Denny O Very nice, those look gorgeous!
