Smoked canned salmon is good. I need my sister and her husband to send/bring me some again. -

cdavis I wish I had some walleye to fish for locally. I would have to drive at least a 150 miles to catch them.

Denny O That would be an amazing trip to take, great looking fish.
-
salmonmaster That looks fantastic. I have been wanting to do something like that with salmon & steelhead for years, but never got beyond a basic smoke for a dinner or two.
-
Denny O Very nice, those look gorgeous!
-
Denny O Wow, that is a whale!

calldoctoday bocephus salmonmaster cdavis Thanks chefs! Fishing the shore of the river the way we did was a Whole new way for me, it really was relaxing! It was neat to watch the salmon coming around the corner jumping here and there heading upstream to spawn then to die. Their 4 year life span in a king was over.

Denny O that would be an amazing sight to see

Denny O Even more amazing is catching such nice fish at a location like that these days. I have not seen that since a long, long time ago catching nice ones along the Sacramento River & up near Payson, Arizona when it was pristine & nothing was there a long time ago. even a creek or two in Florida, Texas, etc., but nothing like that. That is just amazing being able to relax like that & catch such nice fish without having to get the boat all set up & in the water, etc.
