cdavis Looks great! I planted turnips here thats about the only fall crop I can plant. I tilled up my food plot and planted rye grass in it for the winter. I was lucky we got rain on it that night! Not much rain in forcast for the next week

cdavis That corn looks great Charlie. I quit growing corn a long, long time ago as it just took too much space up to get good pollination. However, there is nothing in the world like good fresh corn on the cob, right off the stalk, while it is still bleeding & I sure do miss it along with some of those super sweet & interesting varieties I used to try.

RON PARRISH the corn looks great and I hope your food plots do well

RON PARRISH The ground that I had hunted on had a turnip plot that got converted to soybeans. My favorite place to be in the evening!

cdavis Looks good Charley, I think our growing season is coming to an end fast. We had 35 degrees this morning and the plants are starting to look like fall.

Denny O 66 degrees this afternoon here at 4pm, Spent some time with the wife picking up all the windfalls from the Asian pear and apple trees for the neighbor to give to his in laws to feed their deer. Then went and put the plow on the quad and repaired the winch cable,

johnsbrewhouse we’ve got cooler weather coming. Not as cool as you. As for now it’s highs in the 90s and lows in the upper 60s.

cdavis That sure does look good. We put up a few more gallons of chopped okra for Winter Gumbo. We have the Fall started, but it is not looking very good thus far. We have not had a drop of rain in ages (even the big Live Oaks are dropping limbs) & you can irrigate until the Sun comes up, but nothing beats a nice slow & long rain.
