This was quite a read! LOL
Has anyone used an Adcraft grinder before?
-
Hi everyone, I’m looking to upgrade the KitchenAid grinder I’ve been using. I found a great local deal on an Adcraft MG-1 which is a Number 12 grinder. It seems to be a 745 W, 1HP commercial grinder, but I’ve been having a hard time finding anyone referencing it outside of one or two pretty generic reviews. Has anyone ever seen or used one of these before? Thanks, I appreciate the help!

You need to check, but I think to clean there grinder tube assembly you have to unscrew it from the motor which Is not really convenient , most grinders just have one thumb screw.

Thank you all, I found an exploded diagram in the manual and it does look like a part of the grind assembly is semi permanently attached to the motor in a way that makes me think it would be frustrating to disassemble and keep clean.

I was pretty sure that is what I read when I researched that grinder, it sounded like a great buy, but having to take 4 screws out each time you use it to clean it compared to one thumb screw is a hassle . You might be able to get 4 thumb screws which would make it much easier .
