Tex_77 While very sad, you are so correct. We give up way too many civil liberties as it is. People must be proactive to not allow our personal business to become part of collective knowledge of governments. This isn’t paranode, it’s really a question of whether we are paranode enough.

Tex_77 Chef Jonathon I did the 23 and me DNA test to verify the ancestry that I was told and to find out what I’m made up of since Bio dad wasn’t a part of my life. I wasn’t worried about giving the government my DNA since I was in the Air Force over 20 years it was already on file with them
But the results were surprising as well as it also gives some insight into health issues and other stuff, overall I’m glad I did even if it meant finding out that a certain part of my heritage may have been exaggerated by certain family members.

AdamCA I was hoping for more health stuff too but it basically told me I have no known predispositions for anything troubling which was not disappointing while at the same time disappointing. It is like when you bring your car in for a checkup just to be safe and they find nothing, good news but…was it really worth it?

Jonathon The health side of it has been a little helpful, some things for me to watch for so for that I thought it was cool.
