This is the only way I will use beef liver! When buying our 1/2 cow I end up with so much liver I finally had to try something with it.

    1.5 pounds rinsed beef liver
    2 cups oatmeal
    2 cups flour
    3 eggs
    1 tablespoon oil

Food processor the beef liver into a lovely mess that u could pour thru a screen door without touching a wire, mix everything else together with liver put on a cookie sheet and bake 325 40 mins.

    Dogs love them!

detter22 Is this something they can chew on or is it like a fast eating treat? I’ve been wanting to try something for my dogs for a while but I like it better when I can give them something to chew on for a while like a rawhide.

I’ve been wanting to do something with Liver for my consumption…but I’ll start a new post on that somewhere else

Jonathon I would say more of a soft chew treat the first batch I made I left in the oven longer to dry them more and was able to get a harder treat but nothing like a rawhide.

detter22 Okay, Im still gonna try this though, I’ve been wanting t do something like this for a long time. For easy chews I have sliced sweet potato into about 1/2" thick slices and then dehydrated them for a few hours. It doesn’t match a rawhide for how long it takes them but it does give them something new to chew on that isn’t me!

Shoot. Add a little S&P and garlic powder to that, and that could be a TexLaw treat!

detter22 Good boy! Love chocolate labs, such fun dogs. There isn’t a dog breed that I can’t find something good about even Chihuahuas brought is some fun in the 90s! https://meatgistics.waltonsinc.com/topic/1236/this-is-how-i-do-ribeye?_=1604068332902
