glen You do not have to pack the entire length. I kind of thread it from the tube it comes on to my stuffer tube and cut it (through casing and plastic tube) when I think I have enough. This leaves the remains on the casing tube as it came and I don’t have to worry about it picking up any sausage meat that may spoil. I then shake off as much water as I can and put in sandwich bag coated in kosher salt.
Stuffing Tube

Does anyone know if the Walton’s 10mm SS Stuffing Tube will fit the Huntrite sausage stuffer?

bigda964 I believe that tube has a 1 9/16" base. The other is a 2" base so as long as you have that you should be good!

The Walton’s stuffer horns have a 2 1/8 base, I have the 11 lb stuffer they sell. I don’t know if the tubes would work on another stuffer unless they used something close to that.

I purchased a patty maker that didn’t fit my stuffer. I 3D printed a collar and adapter to make it work. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4370508). Surprisingly enough, even printed in PLA, it’s held up pretty good.

D Halverson 3-d printing is becoming more and more popular and could be an awesome thing to replace wear parts and hard to get adapters and such. That is awesome that you did that!
