No, it won’t ruin it. It will be fine. It may cause it to not have as long of a shelf life. Just make sure you smoke it or cook it to a minimum of 145 degrees internal temperature.
I usually take my wild game to 165 then immediately cold ice bath for 15 minutes. I sometimes dont use cure in wild game sausage snack sticks, etc because its a waste of money, within 2 days it will be devoured.

I keep all my Walton’s mixes in the freezer inside ziplock bags or plastic jars, the same with the pink cure, double bagged. Is there a suggested use by date?

deweymeats around 2 years for seasonings, probably a little longer for cures.
Keeping the seasonings out of the light, dry and air tight should give you max amount of shelf life. I’ve had 1/2 bags seasonings vacsealed and used 12-16months later and they were just fine.
