Will do guys! I have a feeling I may end up switching out the temp controller and maybe even the humidity controller for digital controls down the road. The oven style knob controller with temp markings I’m not a huge fan of, but I’ll try and see how accurate it is and maybe make my own marks during trials for the temps I’ll usually use. It’s supposed to ship March 17th which is almost 3 months after ordering. Need to figure out where I’m going to put it and get the 240v electrical ran soon, along with a 1/4” water line.

HerbcoFood saw a few at a stove shop in Charm, Ohio (Amish Country) this summer. They are impressive and built like a tank.

Tex_77 There is. Not sure on stock but All Things BBQ is owned by the same people as Yoder Smokers, if I’m remembering correctly.

RafterW I know, i just didn’t want to say the company name. I’m not sure about the ownership, but I would say they are closely aligned if nothing else.

Try a custom built smoker from Cotton Gin Smokers -
Both I and my fellow BBQ-Brothers have high praise for the Shirley Fabrication 24"x36" smokers. Really nice Klose just sold for $925 not far from where I reside (Dallas area).https://grilltaster.com/best-way-to-light-a-charcoal-grill/
To save money in today’s economy, I’d be on the lookout for a used cigarette lighter. My Evie Mae pipe-smoker, a 24"x48", was gently used by its former owner and cost me about $1100. Nice, infrequently used smokers tend to reappear in large numbers come January, when Christmas payments are due and folks start worrying about April 15th, at least pre-COVID.

I can recommend the Brinkman Cimarron offset smoker. They are no longer made, but are available on the second hand market from time to time. All welded 3/16th steel construction. They will outlast most owners. I had the one pictured and the matching grill. Sold it to a buddy during a weak moment.
