Good afternoon guy’s,
How do I turn off e mail notifications for Waltons community? I am getting way too many e mails that show up every time someone posts to a discussion that I am not even involved in and I do not want all of these e mails.

Click on your picture in the upper right corner, then go to settings, on the right side you sill see notifications, and you can change your notification settings there. If that doesn’t work Jonathon and he can be of assistance.

Thanks Tex_77! Love the news but it gets overwhelming sometimes. Will give it a try

Jonathon,
So I have turned off most anything that I can turn off and still get notifications for conversations I am not involved in. Can you give me clear instructions on how to set up my account so that I only get notifications for posts that I start or reply to. The others are too much and I would like to disable them. Not sure what I am missing on the settings page.

I have the same problem. Did you get it fixed?

Sorry guys, Ive been out sick. The last 2 things to do would be to go through and unsibscribe from each category. Go to the main page and then click on the Waltons community and then roll call and hit unsubscribe in the upper right hand. Then you will have to do that for each. This should stop you from getting any more notifications. I will ask Austin to post a more thorough post, I can’t exactly recall it at the moment for some reason

Jonathon hope you feel better soon.

Hey everyone. I know I have some instructions somewhere on this. I’ll find it and post it, or, I’ll remake it with screenshots. I’ll try to get it up tonight or tomorrow.

First you need to get to your profile settings.
On desktop, click your user icon in the top right and then click settings.
On mobile, click the menu button in the very top left then scroll down in the pop-up menu to fund settings.Look for the settings as seen in the screenshots below.
You can change what types of things send emails, notifications just on the site, or nothing at all.
This will control emails for a majority of things, but there is also one other area to check.
On every category, there is a Subscribe option. If you are subscribed, you get emails about every topic and post, regardless of the settings on your profile. Look at the screenshot below. Just click the green or yellow button to subscribe or unsubscribe to each category. That is every category on the site, so you have to look at each of them individually as there is no master control for it.
If this doesn’t work for you, let me know and I’ll see if I can get more details for your specific scenario or emails you are getting.

Austin Jonathon, thanks for the info guy’s. I have made the changes and we will see what happens. I love the e mails but there were just too many as I am positive that you guys are aware of.
