Ok ground my meat and got the veggies ready went to get my hog casings and the bag was there but the casing have been tossed.
    Remedy

    1. Ordered new from waltons.
    2. Put ground meat in vac bag and put in freezer
    3. Same with veggies.
When casings arrive can I just regrind the meat, add veggies and seaoning and stuff as normal? Dont want to kill anyone.

@samspade2519 I’ve mixed and then had to hold, never more than overnight but with brats or other fresh sausage you should be okay. Just make sure the meat is fully defrosted before you go to stuff it.

@samspade2519 Yeah, length of time frozen (as long as correctly packaged) shouldn’t be too big of a deal (unless we are talking years) and 7 days is certainly fine!
