I have found that when using a brat seasoning to make sticks what works best is using about 20% less meat per seasoning. So for example you would use 20 lbs of meat but enough seasoning for 25 lbs of meat. It helps the flavor come through a little better.
Using Jerky seasoning for Brats
-
I have a bit of deer left over. Going to grind it and add some ground pork, and high temp cheddar. Has anyone tried using jerky seasoning as a brat seasoning? I have a some Sweet Chipotle seasoning left over. I plan on doing it like brats, but make patties out of it. Just wondering if anyone has tried something like this.

Huddia i believe the only thing that may be different from jerky seasoning and seasoning for fresh product is the seasoning amounts. Which may result in being saltier than normal. You would also not use the cure for fresh product.

twilliams Thanks for the reply. Figured on not using the cure. For no more meat than I have left, I’m thinking about giving it a try.

Give it a try. Make a patty before you package and fry to see it it needs more meat or more spice
