kyle My son got me one for my birthday recently. It lasted a day. I’ve always got stuff to stock up on.
What does everyone do for a profession?

PapaSop We would never have to worry about Jonathan flying!

RafterW You’re really supporting my thought of learning one new thing a day to a whole new level.

zbigjeff they say that is one of the best ways to keep the mind sharp, learn something new. I’ve been dreaming about a pilot license for a good decade now. Two of my acquaintances have recently started down that path, one even purchased a Cessna 172.
We’ve got a little bun in the oven, hopefully in a few years I’ll be able to work toward that license, now just isn’t the time.

RafterW that’s perfect give, it will give Austin time to get that corporate jet bought as well.

Well Ridley Acres has got some new members to update the map I thought it would be great if some new members would like to add to this thread. It’s one of my all time favorites. I go back and read it now and then. It never gets old. We have a community that comes from all walks of life and we get along so well. I hope we get some posters.

I’ve been a Sheriff’s Deputy for 26 years. Hunted whitetails since I was 12. Only season I missed was when I was in the academy in 1996.

wvotrfan thanks for what you do. It’s a profession that has some very big ups and downs. I know, I’m a LEO too. Every once in a while you get a call and respond to something that reminds you why we got into this profession. Those calls make it all worth while and let you embrace the suck and keep pushing forward. I’m not gonna lie though, 8 years and I will hang up my duty belt and vest and won’t think twice about it!

ND Mike I got 2 years and 1 month not that I’m counting.

bocephus it has been a long week. This week was working Thursday-Sunday. The whole State was basically in a Blizzard from Monday night until Friday evening. It has been a long week, both at work and moving snow at home. I have to shovel my garage roof today when I get home from work before the real cold weather moves in. Forecasted highs for next week suck!
