OleSmokey I was afraid of ordering it just because of the name. To my surprise the heat is really Suttle. Just a little nice warmness on the back end not anywhere near hot like I expected. The flavor is wonderful.

Bob Stehlik thanks. The only difference in the 3 is that I left out the peppers and cheese on the sandwich meat chubs. I haven’t got to slice the chubs yet. I have to get through 5 12hr nights at work first. But I did cut a summer sausage and some sticks to take to work tonight.
Shared with my crew at work and they all said without a doubt the best they ever had. Now they said I have to bring sandwiches when I slice the chubs. -

OleSmokey You first taste the sweetness of the BBQ and at the end just a little heat that does not linger.

bocephus that’s a great explanation for the flavor. It was all your posts about it that made me order that seasoning. I really want to thank you because it is my all time favorite now. Even my wife and kids love it and they can’t tolerate any heat.

Bob Stehlik thank you kind sir. I also forgot to mention this was my first run with smooth acid. I’ll be using it in all my sticks and summer sausages from now on. The tang from it is mild and smooth.

bocephus Thanks! I have bacon in the freezer so I don’t need any of this batch. I haven’t weighed it yet but there is most likely just short of 30 pounds there.

cdavis That looks great Charlie & you are way ahead of us now on this year’s batch. I need to get going & get caught up, but also have some other urgent house projects that I need to get caught up on as I am way behind & left them too long. Then I am now finding some products I have used for years is now not being manufactured any longer & they were very good products that worked.
