Aprons are here

https://www.waltonsinc.com/waltons-artisan-apron These are the aprons that are in between the leather and the regular cloth aprons. They have a unique print on them that we have not tried anywhere else. We will have an image for them tomorrow, hope you guys like!

I was so excited I ended clicking the link but was going to come back to ask about the picture LOL!!! How well do they fit different body size? My issues with aprons is because I am 6’6" and the lanyard that ties usually ends up uncomfortably sitting in the upper low back area.

Jonathon Someone asked about the ability to wash these. I think it may have been on a live stream. I washed my apron this weekend with my normal laundry and it washed great. No issues on the leather band or the print on them.

Austin That is great news, mine is on the way. Thank You.

Thanks for the info.

That’s great I was hoping to get one to protect me from hog guts, being able to handle the occasional machine wash cycle puts this on my wish list for sure
-
Austin good to confirm, we found the information last week and put it on the product page. Did you cold wash it? I had to take a picture of the label and then increase the size on my phone. Yup, I am that many years old
-
Jonathon I did a warm/cold wash. Did not tell it to do all cold. I’ll try to just keep washing it each time I do laundry for a couple of weeks and see what happens.

That is good to know. I wonder how many cycles before we start seeing “damage”

Tex_77 I sometimes do my own laundry. I usually start it, forget it, and my wife thankfully finishes it for me.
Dr_Pain I think the print will hold up like the Meatgistics t-shirts, and it will take washes over and over. I’m more concerned about the leather strap, but I saw no degradation after the one wash, so I’m optimistic that it will handle successive washes ver well. We’ll see! -

Good news on the washing. Will be on next order. Thanks. -
Tex_77 I do 90% of the laundry in my house because A) my wife would kill my dogs if all the slober stayed on her clothes and B) (and this is the real one) she would leave it in the dryer FOREVER! It drives me NUTS, the clothes get all wrinkled and then she will run another dry cycle sometimes to get the wrinkles out! Okay…I read that and I come off as a bit naggy but its like LIVING WITH A CHILD sometimes! I have very carefully lived my life with the express purpose of avoiding a child!
In all seriousness don’t feel bad for me, feel bad for her if anyone! PapaSop They are pretty freaking cool honestly, I like them a lot more than I thought I would

Jonathon My wife does most of the laundry and I do most of the cooking. I also vacuum and mop the floors (I am retired and she isn’t).

Jonathon I do 100% of mine as well, the rest is on her. We have different ideas on how much clothes should be ran in 1 load.
-
Jonathon Must be a Tremblay thing LOL!
I actually started doing laundry because I wanted to lead by example. When each of my kids turn 12 they are were taught to do their own laundry. This helped lessen the load on my wife and also prevented my clothes to be all wrinkled (left in the dryer). She sets the laundry in motion and forgets it, and I do it with an alarm on my phone and normally stare blankly as it says 1 minute left on the digital readout

I am only allowed to do my own laundry after an incident where some bra’s turned blue through no fault of mine. There was nothing in the laundry to turn them that color and I had also put them in the dryer which I guess is a no, no. She doesn’t like my methods either, my clothes all go in one load, lights, darks, delicates, work clothes, it doesn’t matter. It all gets the same soap and water and spins around the same and comes out clean. Same with the dryer, all at one time, no stinkin’ dryer sheets and heavy duty cycle.

bocephus I am there with you. Mine doesn’t trust me with the laundry, but the cooking is my realm.
