So... Anyone dare try to replicate these "Candy Corn Oktoberfest Brats"?
-
This is wrong is so many ways, I only know one person who openly admits to eating candy corns.
-
Even though I like a small handful of candy corn once every fall, I would consider that meat to be adulterated
-
Mix some salted peanuts with it and have yourself a salted nut roll candy bar

HerbcoFood My wife, who I do not allow in my kitchen, likes the candy little pumpkins.
Kind of says it all…
-
Chef The fact they don’t change color by fading or their texture over years of sitting shows you something isn’t right! My wife uses them for decoration of filling up jars around the house. We are going on 7 years of using the exact same ones she bought.

HerbcoFood That is so funny.
The same thing can be said of cherry tomatoes. Try and throw some on your lawn. They will look great a week or two later…
I remember when a food rep try to sell me boiled and peeled eggs. Had a shelf like of 6 months. REALY?
Then he tried to sell me potato salad that was good for a year. Ran him out of my restaurant.

I dont want to say too much, and I am not going to tag him in this but…I’ve got something for austin this week

Jamieson22 I like the idea of adding an octoberfest beer to brats. I wonder if any users have tried this & had success with the flavors coming through.

Jamieson22 Ah NO! Enough said. Candy corn with the brown tips and salted peanuts. Yes. This is a big no.

I have to dissent here, I like candy corn and think it could work although I would crumble it first
-
Nope, that’s just as bad as skittles, peanut butter and jelly, snickers bar and all the other cooky ones they have come up with
-
what a waste of precious meat
