lkrfletcher Bacon is a lot of fun. The hard part for me is the patience it takes to cure it well. I’ll tell you I was pretty nervous the first time but if a novice like me can do it, I think you’ll be fine.

bocephus I’m with you on that. I remember the first time taking a bite of my homemade sauerkraut, thinking “man I hope this doesn’t kill me”. It was kind of the same with the bacon. The worry turns to extreme happiness real quick.
