bocephus its easy and rewarding. The only real time consuming part is waiting for it to cure.

lkrfletcher Bacon is a lot of fun. The hard part for me is the patience it takes to cure it well. Iāll tell you I was pretty nervous the first time but if a novice like me can do it, I think youāll be fine.

lkrfletcher you will surprise yourself. Takes some time but pretty basic process overall. Enjoy the journey.

GWG8541 I have the patience for the cure, I make sauerkraut that I wait seven weeks to ferment, but like the first time I made it I will be nervous taking the first bite.
-
lkrfletcher It has been too long since I have done some homemade bacon. I might need to come up with a reason to make some for a video.

bocephus Iām with you on that. I remember the first time taking a bite of my homemade sauerkraut, thinking āman I hope this doesnāt kill meā. It was kind of the same with the bacon. The worry turns to extreme happiness real quick.

Make some using the celery juice powder when the smaller packages come in.
Iāve got some bellies in the freezer waiting for it also.
