What is the best method for using this cure? The directions seem pretty vague, other than it says 2lbs will cure 100lbs of bellies. Is this cure supposed to be used as a brine/pickling solution? I’ve watched the video where Austin and Jon inject it into a belly. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Question: Vac Bag Size For Bacon
-
I’ve never used the walton’s brand chamberless vac bags before. I usually get rolls and size each bag individually but that is a pain when doing repetitive bagging of same-sized items, such as bacon.
What is the best size of chamberless bag for bacon strips? Thank you.

RafterW For bacon I would suggest the 8x12 Quart Vacuum Bags or Walton’s 6x10 Vac Bags.
-
JohnG5 Thank you. I was looking at the 11x16 gallon bags, but that may be too big?
-
Always used 6x12 or 6x15 depending on the width of the particular slab. This was for retail presentation and looks great when done. If you want to make it easier to package, go with 8 inch wide bags.

RafterW That would work as well. Depends on the size of your product.

Sounds like the 8x12’s are the way to go. Thank you for those who responded.
