HerbcoFood thats funny. My Mom was upset that there wasn’t more coverage on Dolly Parton, since Mom was an East Tennessee native. Thats what I enjoyed about the series. Im more of a history buff. It was interesting how Nashville became the country music capital. It was all about marketing the National Life and Accident Insurance Company and being the more central location to broadcast throughout the US. I had no idea that Bristol, Tennessee and New York City had more to do with the origins of country music than Nashville. Good show

HerbcoFood I have caught them going at it a few times in the field, but never a photo like that. I’d say he has a Red Hot alright.

cdavis Unfortunately that doe and me have something in common, running from skunks, lol. I have been charged twice by a skunk, once the skunk won and the last charge I won. Ok you have my curiosity going, you put rice bran in your feeders?

mrobisr I love using rice bran. I have found that not all deer will eat it but the ones that do become almost addicted to it. It seems to me that most of the larger bucks in an area are the ones that prefer it. That’s just my opinion on it. I do have a 193in. Buck on my wall that was addicted to it.

cdavis Wow, I would have never guessed or tried it, thanks it is really good info to know. I have used a couple tons of it for homemade molasses blocks in the past (pre-back issues) and while the protein is ok the fat content really provides energy and the roughage content is great.

badexpresso I use straight rice bran in a 4in. pvc gravity feeder. They love it. I have also just poured a pile on the ground. When it’s gone they will even eat the dirt it was sitting on.
