Shelf life of seasoning
-
Good evening all,
What is the expected shelf life of the seasonings that Waltons sells when still sealed in the package?
I want to purchase multiple packs to have on hand but do not want to throw it away due to old age degrading the quality.
Any help is appreciated

wvhunter1965 I use whatever I need and then vacuum pack it again inside another plastic bag. If it’s not exposed to air, it will be fine.
-
wvhunter1965 After opening, I vacuum pack the opened bag, fold over the opening and seal.

wvhunter1965 I just vacuum seal everything that is un-used. Some of the seasonings with a lot of sugar will harden, you just put them in the blender or roll them with a rolling pin and they are just like new. Flavor degradation doesn’t seem to be an issue as long as there is no air.

wvhunter1965 I was under the impression 2years then seasoning starts to loose potency.

Jesser as long as the is no oxygen, you get no oxidation.

wvhunter1965 About two years if stored in a cool dry place.

Thanks all for the info
