Dr_Pain Cologuard is good for checking for cancerous and precancerous materials coming through the bowel. I am also enrolled in a study through Cologuard and the Mayo Clinic regarding the product. Since there is no real history of cancer in my family and 2 scopes in 1o years, plus the gastric sleeve they have decided unless testing or problems warrant another scope won’t be warranted for 5 years. As far as the H-Pylori, yes that is what they are going to look at, along with several other bacteria’s that could be presenting problems. I am currently on the BRAT (banana, rice, applesauce, toast) diet and it seems to be working right now to keep things in.

DennyO I can’t hear a thing. Help me out.“Do You Hear What I Hear?” “If you have only helped one single person, you have helped a multitude.” It rang in my head of the Christmas song, that was meant to spread unto the world, a word of joy and hope!

No worries kind chef, I know that most of the time my humor and thoughts needs to sink in for a bit.
Well most of the the time quite a bit.
Enough said.
Ok let it go and let it die there.Lol

@dennyo No problem what so ever. I am known for being slow some days, you are ok. My humor can be pretty dry at times as well. I just did not intend it on this one & did not catch the connection on it at all initially.

I cannot deny the truth in the statement!! Helping one person is not my goal…. Helping multiple people is! Hopefully this story can be told and help through generations. I know it is a loafty idea but….

Thanks bud! I truly appreciate each and every prayer and best wishes for speedy recovery. When I was ready to just give up I would read some of your comments and Lord knows how much it helped. Perfect strangers offering prayers, positive thoughts, sending cards etc….mind blown!

One bite at a time!!! You are so right. The pragmatic side of me understand that, however the emotional side of me feel out of control and very overwhelmed by all the changes. I am going through a major grieving process at the moment. I am an emotional being but crying 3-6 times a day is not something that I was familiar with. The lack of socialization on a daily basis (since I am homebound) gets to me. I do talk with friends on the phone and do some texting but it is not the same as the face to face interactions
I’ll get there! As you said, one step at a time!

Hey there buddy you might want to think about putting SKYPE on your computer and then you could face to face with people I no it isn’t perfect but you could see people
-
Dr_Pain Hang in there, you have a whole community behind you. I know it can be a tough process but look at the progress you have already made.

I don’t mind sharing my cell phone. If you have an iPhone we could easily FaceTime. I remember Skype all too well with my days of Mafia Wars. I was one of the top Godfather of the game LOL! The good ol’ days. I don’t have the app anymore but may consider reinstalling it if there is enough all for it

Physically I am improving daily and that is encouraging. Psychologically, now that is a different story. As I mentioned before I already had a psychiatric history. The hospital psychosis made all of it 1000x worse. Working with my psych nurse to adjust all the meds. Small wins weekly but still a LOOOOONG way to go

I have a I phone but don’t really know all about it but hang in there you sound better every time you post I will keep praying for you and your family and I no you got this
