New cast iron Wok!
Chinese cuisine pics tomorrow.
-
Tex_77 that’s cool. Looks like a great place to hang out and cook
-
Steven Winscot someday I make break down and get one of these. My parents got a carbon steel wok when they got married and I usually just borrow that when I want to use one. Might be nice to have my own though

Deepwoodsbutcher never tried a carbon one, I thought the cast would hold heat better. Uno Casa has both styles.

Steven Winscot that should be a great addition to the rest of the stuff. It looks great
congrats

Steven Winscot do you use it on a stove or over a fire?. Don’t think my old stove would get it going.

samspade I use it on the “Double burner” of a new glass top Kenmore stove and it works great. Make sure it’s sufficiently heated before you start cooking.
-
Steven Winscot my old stove only has 4 regular sized burners. I have trouble boiling a big pot of water for spaghetti lol
-
Tex_77 I see lots of homemade tortillas in your future…

samspade I’ve heard some of the older stoves burners were under powered, I researched the one I bought to make sure I could put a 25 quart canner on it, it’s a Kenmore 5 burner but from what I’ve read they are made by Frigidaire.
