You can actually just microwave frozen meat to make it sliceable, yet still frozen. I do it all the time with pork loin, meat is still 32f with frozen crystals , but soft enough you can slice it with knife… I always cut partially frozen stuff for Chinese food, for thin slices. Fine to refreeze remainder.
Walton's Product That Triggered a Memory
I saw this while shopping and it triggered an old childhood memory. When I was little, my Dad had a huge collection of these knifes that came mostly from salesman and suppliers and all generally would have a company logo of some kind on them.
I only have one of them that I kept, and it was one of the nicer ones. It even has its own fork! Swiss army knife for sausage makers.
Who else has seen these sausage sampling knives?

never had a holster for mine…I was not worthy
I worked for a year at Contadina foods as a harvester liaison. Most of our tomato growers also had melon fields. They gave away similar 6 in folding knives to cut melons. The grower always had a cooler in the back of the truck with whole cantaloupes, watermelon and casabas that he would share with us and his picking crews
