Meat Slicer

Can anyone recommend a good meat slicer that’s affordable?

Look on offer up. Your area may have used one cheap. If not waltos 10 in is good unit.

New slicers are can be expensive, but used commercial equipment comes up for sale and can offer some good values. I like to follow face book market place, craigslist, and some of the auction sites.
The auction sites that specialize in government, municipal, and institutional food services, school kitchens, catering companies, and restaurants are where you want to be looking.
Sometimes it may take a while and you have to be willing to do some research, but the deals are out there. The used commercial equipment seems to hold its value and even appreciate in value, so look at it as an investment.

If you have room to let a slicer sit in place with little to no movement then go with a used commercial one. I cannot give up the counter to space so I had to choice one that worked within my LxWxH restrictions that its weight worked and then got the best, at that time that I could afford. I recearched off and on for more than a couple of years before I said I needed to pull the cord and make the jump to get one.
Then a couple of years later along came Walton’s into my view!! Checkout theirs!
