Thanks to you both!
Montana trip with Jon and austin
-
We recorded a podcast on the way up but the internet is so bad up here we are struggling to get it from us to PatrickB to let him process it. So it may, or may not be available tomorrow.
It is freaking gorgeous here!!
-
Wow! That sky is so…BIG!
Did you guys end up flying or driving to MT? -
Jonathon
Takes me back some 50 plus years ago from time in Colorado. Awesome! -
Jonathon It is a beautiful state, been there a few times. How was the trip and how long did it take?
-
Jonathon That looks great! I cannot wait to get another assignment in Montana. The last one was in Great Falls, way too many years ago. Have fun, enjoy the ride & scenery, & be careful.

Jonathon you need to get closer to those towers on top of the hill to get reception. Montana doesn’t have the greatest cell coverage.
-
We drove, we left at 7 am on Wednesday and arrived at 2 am on Thursday! Booth is all set up and I am at a dinner for the big donnors I think? This is the most beautiful place ever. Here is the view
-
It won’t let me post the panoramic view I took as it’s so large but my god is this amazing country.
My wife is going to be surprised when I tell her this is where we are retiring!
-
Jonathon it definitely takes your heart, it’s unbelievable how you can feel so much at peace there. Havent gone since the Covid started so I’m definitely missing it. We went 3 years in a row then Covid hit. Now it’s just fuel and inflation. Not sure which would be worse, getting eaten by a shark or a Griz. Be careful and keep your eyes open, they are just coming out of the den so they are hungry. Besides that, relax and take as much of it in as you can.

beaver tail meatballs with trout cakes
Then bear Orso croquettes and the last one is the company that did the bear -
twilliams both terrible, bear just start chewing shark I’d probably die of fright!
-
Jonathon Better check it out in the winter before retirement.

Jonathon Wow, gold leaf too! fancy food.
-
Last time I made it to Great Falls the local museum had a Charles Russel painting exhibit there on loan, between the mountains and that show it was a great time.
-
Jonathon its no wonder why they say Big Sky Country. I really enjoy my trips to the mountains. I’m sure you guys are having a blast!

Originally from Bozeman and it is beautiful! I actually am heading up next week. Last trip was to pick up half a beef from my kids. Southwest loved taking 4 suitcases full of beef!! HA Had to restock to make more snack sticks. Enjoy you time there! Couldn’t quite tell where you were at from photos but if in Bozeman area look up Chalet Market they make some great Hunter’s Sticks.

It is a fact you two have the best jobs in the world
