That is StarSan’s primary purpose. When used according to the directions, you can apply it to a clean surface to sanitize it.
StarSan is sold in concentrated form and needs to be diluted with water before using .
When it is diluted to the correct strength, it can be applied as a no rinse sanitizer.

I use IO Star and Starsan depending on what I am doing or in some cases what I am closer to.
