Jonathon In addition, dry the cheese of your choice a bit to help with its heat temperance & then freeze it before adding to your mix, late in the mix. We use other natural cheeses using this method too, just make sure you are you a harder & more aged cheese as we have had better luck with those.

Is this normal to go from UPS To Post Office?
-
I have gotten items shipped UPS Surepost that way. The shipper starts with UPS and then UPS delivers to your local postal service for final delivery. I think it is a little cheaper to ship using this method.

lkrfletcher Surepost package, USPS does the delivery to the house
-
Just for chat, my latest order was shipped out Sept 2 and between UPS and the post office, I just received it, in Bismarck, ND! I am very glad that I on second thought, I removed the Hi Temp Cheese from the order. Sept 2 until afternoon of Sept 12. Walton’s did their job of processing, delivery is getting terrible, no one wants to work.

deweymeats you did have a Holiday weekend in there, but that is still slow.
-
Yep, both Ups & USPS are slow to here. Ups arrive in Omaha on 3rd, left on the 6th: arrive Bismarck on 7th & Post Office delivered on 12th. I have everything, glad I ordered early. Cheers

lkrfletcher Yes UPS gets it to town and sometimes USPS delivers from there.
-
lkrfletcher I am pretty positive I have seen it before a time or two. I know, it is confusing. I am not sure why it is done like that on occasion.
-
This is the longest wait I have had and again, Waltons was fast enough.

deweymeats UPS delivers direct to your delivery post office, the one who your carrier come from. UPS probably lost the package in their system somewhere. Once it come off the truck and is scanned at the distribution center, it will show out for delivery. Ask me how I know, been through it with UPS and one of the drivers was kind enough to tell me all the problems they have with antiquated equipment and software. Those handheld scanners are basically running the same operating system the old Blackberries were running. That is another reason why UPS hides their tracing now too. USPS is a final mile delivery on Sure Post.

lkrfletcher It happens that way sometimes to me too.

lkrfletcher I can’t say too much but there will be online shipping changes coming soon to give people other options than UPS or UPS-USPS. We have heard from enough people to the west of us that something other than UPS was needed.
