Dave in AZ calldoctoday
Nothing like jumping in head first!
I think I added a piece a once or twice a year at the most.
Vacuum machine was first, grinder 2nd, powered mixing tub 3rd, stuffer 4th, slicer last. filter is a lot of other odds and ends within the years. -
Dave in AZ That’s awesome, thanks! Let us know how it all goes! We are planning on doing some more for people who purchased equipment from us during the sale in the future as well

Jonathon Austin , not sure who would look at this,
Pretty bummedI called to see an update on my order that was supposed to arrive 21Jul yesterday. She told me that the two $0.01 sample spices I noticed and added to my order to try, were out of stock, so my entire order was held up and not shipped. Expected to ship 11 Aug!
I had her remove the 2 pennies and ship it all. However, you may want to look at your shipping process there, holding up $1000 order for 2 one-cent items doesn’t seem reasonable. Upon adding items to my cart, they all said In Stock, Ships Immediately. Upon doing the shipping portion, the order said Economy Shipping, Get It By 21Jul22. And my order confirmation email said, "Hey David,
We begin preparing your order for shipment within minutes of receiving it. …
Grand Total:
$1,072.13 USD
Payment method: Credit Card
Shipping method:
Economy Shipping (Get It By Thu, Jul 21) "So, a lot of things told me it would arrive 21 Jul
I think most folks would expect order to ship, and any backordered parts to ship later, especially as that is what the shopping cart, payment page, final order review, and order confirmation email all said. I never got any feedback saying shipping was delayed either…
You may want to look into your process where a 0.01c item delays shipping a month automatically, and the web and email info given to customers don’t match actual shipping. The lack of feedback notice on shipping delay to customer is also problematic. In my case, I was calling home from airports 4 times yesterday making my kids check porch for shipment so it wouldn’t get stolen from front porch, not the worst thing, but that can’t be good for commercial customers who need their supplies to stay in business.
P.s. your customer service rep, think Michelle, was very nice and helpful.

Dave in AZ Whenever they ship, they always send the shipping confirmation with the tracking numbers to me so that I can track where it is. It is always in a second email stating it was shipped. They usually will not hold up an order because of a B/O either if it is a ways out. This is always the case that I have found.
-
Dave in AZ Yup, we messed up on this! It was based on 1 thing being back-ordered, the system was supposed to prevent the item you had that was back ordered from holding up orders but it and we failed. 100% on us BUT it has shipped today, we/I am really sorry about this. It was the stupid ginger chili thing. I’ve already got something going to make this up to you at least in a small way and I will reach out to you about it privately.

Jonathon thx, I really just wanted to be sure you noticed as with the new web site and all, it is easy for weird web-shop bugs to get introduced. I know they can be hard to track down if you don’t have some datapoints. I know you guys are always working hard to improve the site and a lot of recent changes, just wanted you to be aware so you might find the code tweak needed.
I wasn’t put out much, no worries, was really only worried about your guys issues if it is a new bug you didn’t catch
I think the great sale price and coupon I already got are plenty for me, thx!
Thx for the reply. -
Thanks Dave in AZ It did indeed clue us into the fact that the sample seasonings were not acting as we expected them to, so it helped!

Just put in my small order, I didn’t need much but I am glad what I needed was on sale.

Today my in laws told my husband they were thinking about get us a meat slicer for our 10 year anniversary (this Friday). They said they looked at some on Amazon and I had to chime in. I said if you really want to get us one, we would love it. And then I directed him to the 10" from Waltons and the great summer sale. They ordered it and it is supposed to be here Friday! (Right on time too lol) What a nice gift.

Deepwoodsbutcher happy anniversary and how nice to get a gift
you can really use. Congrats
-
Bob Stehlik haha. I’d take stainless steel for every anniversary to be honest. And thank you.
-
calldoctoday and cdavis, thank you both. Practical gifts are the way to go. I told my husband when we started dating not to buy me flowers, I’d rather have knives. He kept that deal with me and I’m pleased with it. I still have the knives while flowers would just be gone. He usually gets tools and he seems happy with that. It works for us.
