I haven’t added any cheese to these yet. Maybe in the future I’d try cheddar.
Jalapeño Popper Brats

Miller Those look delicious. I see a box of chicken broth on the table. Was that also part of the recipe?
-
IVERYAN I was wondering the same thing.
-
Miller You do bigger than I. I only get it from a restaurant supply house in 3 lb bundles. Thanks for your input.

Miller That sounds pretty awesome, did you do anything to the picked jalapenos? Like drain them and let them air dry for a while, or toss them right in? Since its a fresh brat I wouldn’t really think it would matter but when I use anything pickled in a cured sausage I always let them sit out on a rack for a while to allow the juice to evaporate somewhat. Otherwise it can destroy the bond.
-
Jonathon I drain and rinse the jalapenos with water a couple of times.
-
IVERYAN yes the I used the chicken stock as moisture in the mix, the whole container.
