That’s what I understood. Use canned or kill the enzyme. Thanks

Tex_77 It all depends, they have 3 different camera series to look at. https://stealthcamcommand.com/plans

https://www.revealcellcam.com/ In my opinion, reveal cameras are the only ones worth buying right now. Pricing is excellent, battery life is good, its cellular based and instantly sends the pictures to your phone app. I have one less than 100 yards from my back door because they are so darn convenient lol. I have the basic plan and it works great.

Tex_77 Exodus outdoor gear makes some good cams.

We were at a Sportsman’s Warehouse in Helena, Mt in June and I picked up two of these Muddy cameras. They are so much better than the old outdated junk we had been using, but I am not sure if that is a objective recommendation or not.
Nothing fancy, no cell connectivity. They do take stills or video and have very good battery life and with a 16 Gb card, they hold thousands of still pictures. They have provision for a large external battery if you plan to do some advance scouting in a remote area for long period of time.
I think they were around $80 each.

Tex_77 if price is not an option RECONYX all the way. Otherwise I have both Muddy and Stealh cams. Muddy has given me a lot of fits, so I’d say Stealth cams. Both brands around $150 each. It seams like the cameras that have the small door on the bottom rather than the entire face opening is better for water resistance.

Tex_77 My brother has Stealth Cams, we have had good luck with them.

Well I pulled the trigger on two Reveal cameras, I hope I don’t regret following RafterW recommendation! A little more than I wanted to spend, but I’d rather buy once and be done then get junk and not be happy.
-
Tex_77 My wife’s cousin who is an outfitter down here uses Reveal cams and seems to like them. Then again I am not sure if he get’s paid to endorse them as well.

It would be good if you can share your experience with them after you have had them a while.

Tex_77 Will it do color 1080P or 4K video. We want to set one within 2 to 3 feet of one of our hummingbird feeders.
