Zoobille 100 lb of Jerky, 100 lb of Bratwurst, 50 lb of Snack Stick

So, every year we go to a Wichita event called Zoobilee at the Sedgewick county zoo. It’s a fun night, I call it Wichita’s Kentucky Derby, all the women wear sun dresses and hats and the guys with them get overly dressed as well and there are tons of vendors giving out free samples and you can see some of the animals as you drink and try samples. A good time for sure, plus we are reigning champions as we won the Best Vendor Booth the last time they awarded one. I also used the time making snack sticks and bratwurst to train new Customer Service Agents on the processes so it was time well spent!

So, I have been spending what little free time I have making all the food for it, part of the reason I have been silent on Meatgistics recently. We made:
50 lb of Jalapeno Popper Sausage with Mozzarella
50lb of Philly Cheese Steak Bratwurst with Swiss
50lb of Habanero BBQ with Cheddar
100 lb of Walton’s Bold Tender Jerky.

Hopefully someone is coming to Zoobilee and we will see you there!

Walton’s is everything but the meat, BUT tonight they brought the meat and it is Awesome . I’ll post a picture of Jon hard at work when I Figure out how to do it from my phone. Thank you Walton’s for being a community partner.

cntryboy it was fun even though I was there for work. It would have been more fun if it hadn’t been so cool and rainy that night.

dawg It was great to meet you, thank you for introducing yourself, that was a nice part of the night for sure. Our line was crazy long all night long, we never stopped until we ran out of meat. The ad part was that the rain forced all the people to wear jackets and long pants and the outfits are the best part of zoobilee, Wichita’s Kentucky Derby without the overly dressed rich people isn’t as much fun!

Tex_77 It was actually in case the place was taken over by terrorists, I had a plan to secure all my guys in the Giraffe exhibit, make sure they were safe, then it was hunting time!
