I’m sure this has been asked before but I got crs syndrom today while making these elk stix. Can anyone tell me how much sure cure to use on 5Lb batches of elk meat when mixed with willies snack stix seasoning…thank you… CRS is cant remember sh!@…lol…

Buckmaster It is 1oz of cure#1 to 25lbs meat, which is what Waltons SureCure is.
Or 2.5g per 1000g meat, which is 2.2 lbs.For 5 lbs meat, that is 0.2 oz, or 5.66g, or 1 teaspoon
