kyle My son got me one for my birthday recently. It lasted a day. I’ve always got stuff to stock up on.
FEDX

Boy the warehouse people doing a great job getting orders out. Got my today from ordering during live feed. Thanks
FYI… FEDX must be working extra hard to destroy boxes with the holidays here, my box was all but wide open only one small bit of tape seal on the end holding the contents. Luckily everything was there intact , not sure how.
Might need more tape? It usually UPS that’s hard on boxes. -

tarp We’ll see what mine looks like on Friday. it’s coming to the opposite side of the country. UPS usually busts every box open they ship to me from Walton’s. The paper tape doesn’t hold up well.

johnsbrewhouse My order should be here tomorrow, usually Fed Ex is better here than UPS so hopefully it will show up intact.

tarp They are always the best at Walton’s

I was really excited that my order shipped promptly, but has been held up in Lenexa, KS for the last 2 days… I’ll try to report back the condition on the boxes (and contentl

Received my order today, box was in pretty good shape, tape was torn along the top but everything in box was fine. Opened up box and checked out my scale and one of the buttons is upside down. Contacted customer support and I will be sending this one back for exchange.

bocephus Looks like mine my be lost or delayed. We had snow here so who knows. FedEx drivers can’t drive in the snow, UPS either but Amazon does. Suppose to be here tomorrow now has deliver date pending which means, “not on time” as usual.

johnsbrewhouse What about the postman, he takes on rain, snow, sleet, & heat, right…

Well FedEx is a failure too, my order is stuck in Oregon with a weather delay. To bad I checked the weather, it is sunny and cold. My sister lives about 15 miles from the FedEx hub where it’s at, so the weather report is pretty accurate. We only had snow flurries this morning and the roads were clear since I had to drive back home from a meeting where they had more snow than we had, about 60 miles this afternoon, not even any ice. Sounds more like a conjugal visit to me.

Well, my package arrived Friday evening. I would agree, the non adhesive tape that waltons is using is working fairly well at being a non stick variant. Box was wise open (everything was in the box)

johnsbrewhouse Can’t win for loosing. Hang in there.

calldoctoday Exactly, now it’s delayed in Portland 80 miles away. It was sunny today, no snow or rain, suppose to have snow flurries tonight from us south including Portland. No excuses for them, all they had to do was drive a less than six hour drive from Hermiston, OR to Tacoma (320 miles) today with clear roads

Believe it or not FedEx deliver my package on Sunday night after multiple delays sitting in Oregon. Of course it was snowing on and off here at my house all day and never expected the delivery. The tape on the box edges was busted open with no loss, but the box wasn’t crushed like UPS. I think it’s time for the shipping department to give up on the paper reinforced tape since it does survive shippers.

My box from FedEx was in good shape. It was lighter stuff so that may have helped.

johnsbrewhouse Have to agree with you on the paper tape not fully adhering. Solution maybe as simple as pulling it out of the dispenser slower so the adhesive side of the tape picks up more water/moisture. Almost all of the packages I receive from Walton’s are starting to unwrap. However, the tape on Amazon packages, which is also a paper reinforced tape, seems to stick pretty good.

PETA must have infiltrated the shipping hub near Wichita.

Bob Stehlik Mine adheres well, just seems to break at the edges easily. Once the edges break, then the seams break. Even some areas they double tape the seams break open. The box is in much better condition with FedEx, it wasn’t handled by the Samsonite Gorilla, for those of use old enough to remember that commercial.

I think part of the problem is the size of the box compared to what is in it let’s the stuff move around a lot so it is getting beat up inside and out so when the tape gets just a little tear in it it just rips open
