Few Tips on How to Store Kerry’s Gold Butter for Maximum Freshness
-
Storing your Kerry’s Gold butter correctly will help keep it extra-fresh for as long as possible. To achieve this, the key is to minimize contact with air and moisture. For example, try wrapping it tightly in heavy duty foil or plastic wrap - this helps to ensure that any odors and flavors from your fridge don’t transfer onto the butter. Alternatively, you could even place the butter in a small air-tight glass container. Be sure to always store it in the coldest part of your refrigerator; otherwise, it may begin to soften and go off before its recommended expiration date. With these few steps, you can keep your Kerry’s Gold butter happily shelf-stable longer!

Uhhmm… Welcome?
I see you joined back in Apr 22.
Kinda an odd post to make as a first post on a meat f***m, but I guess butter and meat go together. What’s got you thinking about storing butter? (I’m thinking you’re either a spam bot, or you work for that butter company…)
Tell me more about why your first post is about storing butter, I just freeze mine! -
I’m having trouble entering your Dec. Vaccum sealer giveaway on line. I’ve been trying to enter everyday and it appears that the “entry via U Tube” and two other “daily bonus entry” spots are not totaling up correctly. Today the “enter via U Tube” spot worked. My total entries when I first signed in was 20 entries. After submitting my two “daily bonus” entries and getting the “entry via UTube” option to work, I checked my total entries again and they had gone from “20” down to “18”???

Stpoleway you might need to clear your cookies and refresh your browser. I suspect there was an error and a couple of your entries didn’t take. This giveaway tool that Walton’s is using is owned by Gleam which runs millions of giveaways internationally so I would be surprised if their code was miscounting.

Since we are talking about butter and storage, if you like to have some room temperature butter for spreading on bread or whatever then get you one of those crocks that turn upside down in a water bath and the room temperature butter will keep for a few weeks on your counter as long as you change the water every couple days.
-
mrobisr I have one of those ceramic butter keepers and they work great.
-
mrobisr BTW, I add salt to the water in the butter keeper that way I only change the water when I refill with butter.
-
I just use a standard butter croc on the counter so that it’s always ready for use. Ain’t no one got time to let butter come to room temp when cooking!

I have 5 kids, the only way a stick of butter lasts that long is if I hide it in the back of the freezer!

Ridley Acres I understand completely, we have eight, but they are spread out from 8-40 so it was a little gentler on us.
