Austin Jonathon Is anyone else having problems with the Walton’s 660 LB scale? The first one I received had a button upside down and the replacement I received today powers up with batteries but does not power on with the AC adapter.

bocephus the ac power cord on mine has wires showing. I have to wiggle it around to get it to work sometimes.

It was like that right out of the box.

Firesquatch74 mine is the same with the wires showing. I had to get mine outside of Waltons because they were backordered when my other scale died. Not sure if that would make any difference as it is the same branding. The faces of the buttons are already fading as well, which is disappointing. The scale works ok, but definitely has some cheap components.

Deepwoodsbutcher the wires aren’t showing, but as soon as I plug in the ac adapter the display shuts down if running on batteries or without batteries it does not power up. Working with customer service to ship this one back and get a new one. The first one I received from black Monday sale had a button upside down but it worked ok.

bocephus Not to the best of my knowledge. There are always going to be one or twos but the fact you’ve had 2 have issues worries me. I sent an email to CS manager just to make sure there aren’t any hold ups. I am trying to get less involved in replacements because it turns out that I am often a cause of that hold up. Let us know what happens but I still use the 2nd one we got.

Jonathon They asked me to try it with and without the batteries installed. It doesn’t work with or without the batteries when the AC adapter is installed. I am hoping to get a return label today so I can get it returned. I am hoping when they see that it has been sent, they will send a new one out before it is actually received back at Walton’s as I am going out of town for Christmas, and I do not want it sitting by my door while I am gone.

Jonathon The first one I received worked fine, just had the C/R key upside down.

Just want to thank everyone that was involved with the issue I have had with scales. Austin, Jonathon, Ayani and the others in customer service, the reason that Walton’s is so great is not just the products but the way they stand behind what they sell.
